Insight into the forging process
The forging process is a fascinating craft that requires both precise technique and artistic skill. Participants begin by selecting the right steel and learn how to forge the different layers together at high temperatures. This technique, necessary for producing Damascus steel, results in blades that are not only extremely sharp and durable, but also feature beautiful patterns.
